When I get back home now, I see a pretty wall + pretty polaroids. which back really good memories. I honestly kept replaying that few days in my head and feel all :o) over again.

You know I've never felt so contented being so laid back. You know the secured feeling even though you know you're holding on to nothing. That's how I feel with 24. I can be a mediocre with no achievements/CCAs yet I feel super secured/contented/happy/retarded when I'm with them. Especially for me who came into poly thinking that people around me would be (mostly) hi-bye friends. But this bunch of friends proved me dead wrong. Now I know I can always rely on them. They make me feel like it's perfectly okay to not know anyone else in the school as long as I have them:) I remembered one day when we felt the heart-sinking feeling together at the thought of being separated. Which i really pray hard that we won't. We'll stick together reaaally close together for a reaaaly long time even after graduation and remember the wedding pact:)

My old happy friends. Things are really changing faaaaaast and stuff but I really reaaallyyy cannot express how grateful I am to you guys. It's like I know you guys will forever and always be a huge part of my life. Regardless of the distance/anything that makes me see you less, I will keep faith that we will be happy friends till the end of time - grow old together, have kids together, like how we always talked about it:)

I don't know what the future holds for me, but I reaaally hope and pray that our friendships will last.

So anywaaaaaay, my hectic life starts now and I really hope that it'll be over soon. I'll be tough enough and get through all these:) In a blink of an eye, I'll get settled down and life will pretty much resume back to the norm. I'll then continue to do crazy retarded stuff with my happy friends:)

I'll be tough enougggghhhhhhh. After this whole hurdle, I'm going to look up and see how much I've grown and matured.

It's scary how time passes so fast that you don't even realise it.

I remember the random pensive mode I had last year just before Christmas and all of a sudden, Chinese New Year's approaching in what, exactly a week's time. And I only know this CNY will mean more than me in every single way.

I used to think 18 was the age where all the real shit begins. And now, my friends are turning 18. One by one. Just few memories back, we were crazy kids who thought 18years old was still a long way down the road.

I'm going to be real busy with CNY/projs deadlines and all the packing. But it'll pass. One more month and you'll get settled, idiot. Bear with it. Price of being 18. It's time I start facing the real world. I'll get used to this. I have to.And I've got to get certain things out of my heaaaaaaaaaad.

I've decided not to come up with some pensive long chunk of story with content as heavy as me.

2011 was definitely a year I've had many first times, many fears, and many troubles (!!). But it was also the year I received a lot of love, felt a lot more courageous, and grown a lot more:)

Grateful/Thankful are words way too underrated to show how blessed am I to have my happy friends/family around me - always guiding me, helping me and most of all, accepting me no mater how weird/troublesome/bad a person I am.

After all, we won't be 17 forever. Really.

One thing that I really picked up from 2011 was to follow your heart. People will drill harsh words into your mind. Reality will never make things easy for you. I am a super timid person (and I meant it) but I've learned that sometimes you've got to be courageous and do things that you think it's right/that you want.

I had myself a merry Christmas though things sure didn't go according to what was planned.

Like how the first few minutes of my Christmas was spent at Orchard stoning while waiting for the rain to stop; how we met up with another cousin and friends; how difficult it was to actually find somewhere to sit down and talkkkkk, and how drama it was to have my phone dying on me on Christmas.

It was like being unexpected in another unexpected situation.

But things unexpectedly turned out to be not baaad:)

And I finally figured that I really won't be 17/smell like teen spirit(lolol) forever and I will do whatever I wantttt. Sometimes, it's really okay to follow our hearts.

My job is an asshole.

Its like never ending to pack the bottles/tubes of cosmetics used by middle-aged ladies (if i were typing this when I'm so freaking tired like yesterday I seriously would have used aunties).
